Ahlstrom, a global leader in fiber-based specialty materials, announces the opening of its new warehouse in Nuevo León, Mexico. This strategic expansion reinforces the company’s commitment to supporting filtration customers throughout Mexico by enabling quicker lead times, lowering capital expenditures, accelerating time-to-market and enhancing overall operational efficiency.

Strategically positioned, the new warehouse serves as an ideal logistics hub for reaching Mexico’s major industrial centers. From this facility, Ahlstrom will provide expedited service to Monterrey, Saltillo, San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, León, and Querétaro. The new 2600 square meter warehouse, operational in January 2026, will feature four loading docks, a packaging line and a test lab. It will also consolidate sales operations and create synergies with existing offices to drive greater efficiency.

“Our investment in this new warehouse strengthens our dedication to being closer to our customers to support their business growth,” says Willy Bordignon, VP Americas. “By reducing delivery times and helping to lower our customers’ capital costs, we are ensuring they receive the highest level of service and value from us.”

The expansion is another significant step in strengthening Ahlstrom’s long-term strategy to support global filtration customers with greater efficiency and responsiveness to stay competitive in the market.
